What a beautiful union this is: two of Boneshaker’s much-loved partners collaborating to create a very special bicycle indeed.

As readers of Boneshaker 17 and Boneshaker 18 will know, Pelago are based in Helsinki, Finland, where they build timeless bikes of a decidedly practical and sustainable persuasion. They also look awesome.
To celebrate Brooks’ ‘Anniversary of 150 Years of Excellence’, the legendary saddles ‘n’ luggage manufacturers have teamed up with Pelago to make a very special edition of Pelago’s Stavanger bike. The Stavanger “pays respect to timeless design” but boasts contemporary kit. Whatever the weather, this versatile bicycle promises fast-paced commuting, randonneuring and general all-road grinding.
The frame is double-butted 4130 CrMo steel, its geometry and detailing designed for multipurpose use. Shimano 105 components and TRP Spyre mechanical disc brakes make the Stavanger reliable and easy to maintain. This limited edition bike (only 15 will be made) comes in 5 sizes from 50 to 62cm with full-size lightweight aluminium mudguards and mounting points for racks, water bottles and other accessories.
Designed and handbuilt in Pelago’s workshop, it features a copper-plated fork and copper decals hand-stamped with each frame’s individual edition number (from 1 to 15, obviously). Naturally, each bike is crowned with a Brooks seat – namely the 150 year Anniversary Swift saddle with copper rivets and rails.
